Credit where credit is due

My firt thought when asked to review another credit card site was yeah, yeah, yet another of these sites…. As Always, I went in with an (almost) open mind and spent a few minutes as to what the site truly offerred that set it apart from all the others out there. It didn’t take me long to find something that stood out - and it wasn’t the front page! OK, the front page isn’t that bad, but more on that in a moment. What I found that was a plesant surprise was the Credit Resources pages - and especially the Glossary.

CreditMe has all of the things that I have come to expect from a site in this niche - and that is the infoon all sorts of Credit Cards including Amex Credit cards, Citibank Citicards credit cards, and Chase Manhattan’s Chase Bank Credit cards. They also provide several searches based on Card types. I also found several articles and resources related to credit and credit cards.

Now, back to the website itself, It has a clean simple layout and uses a Green and Lilac on white colour scheme. I have not seen these particular colours used together, but they manage to pull it off by only using a small amount of each colour. The site is fairly new, but it has an almost not quite finished feel to it - they have included sections on client reviews of the products but they are all empty. True, maybe no-one has done a review yet, but the page with just a title on it just seems unfinished to me. It might have been better to put a simple “be the first to write a review” type message into the content area of their site.
