Don’t just show it - Create IT

Saturday, June 2nd, 2007

How many times have you wandered around a tradeshow and you wander past the booths with great displays and you can hardly get near them for the crowds. On the other hand, there are the boots that are basically somone sitting down at a trestle table watching a video on their laptop and a handful of brochures on the table. These ones are easy to get near because everyone is just walking past and not paying any attention no matter how goood the product or service on offer is.

Trade Shows are all about the visual and catching the attention of the show visitors who are a captive audience. Your Trade Show display should grab the attention and pull the Crowds to your booth. You already spent a small fortune securing your booth, but without going to the trouble of getting the best Display you may as well have stayed at home!

I am amazed when I wander around various trade shows at how good and how bad some of the booths are. Now, the one’s I bother to stop at have somehow managed to capture my attention and stand out from the rest. The last show I went to was a motor show and there were some great cars, but the actual booths and info was pretty pathetic at most of them. Yes, a show where the average price of the Items on display is over $30K and most didn’t even have a Rack of brochures.

Once you secure your own booth at a trade show you need to set it up to make the most of your potential customers walking past. Make your Trade show displays stand out with the help of Create IT Displays. Start with a Large print for a backdrop then a Literature stand and a Table top display. Their website shows you everything you need to make a spalsh at your next trade show with images and information. Simply fill in the contact form, send an email or pick up the phone and call.

Safe and Secure

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

While looking for a zip program, today I came across Secure ZIP. This site offers a fully functional Free Zip program. I followed the instructions on the page, entered my email address and a few minutes later I had the download link in my inbox. I clicked on the link and started the 12Meg download.

Ok, I am thinking to myself why would someone be giving away this software - when other similar programs cost a fair bit. Then I noticed - this is a limited time offer for everyone to get SecureZIP - the next generation ZIP. Well what would make a program “the next generation” and it was pretty clear after installing it.

Firstly, I took a look at all the different types of compressed archives you can create and access - Yes, I was impressed there are quite a lot. That alone doesnt make it next generation but the fact that it integrates into Outlook and it is pretty simple to encrypt and compress your messages which is pretty important for your data security while your email message is in-transit.

I can remember way back when the very early versions of PKZip and it was nowhere near as easy as this - the 11th version of Zip software. The company has been providing compression software for nearly as long as there has been any compression software.

The website is clear and to the point - you want to download the software - and it is right there in front of you and has been set up to promote SecureZIP. There is no indication as to how long this free offer will last so I say Grab it while you can and get a great program at a great price - you can’t get better than Free now can you!

Bonsai tree seed

Saturday, April 28th, 2007

Patience is the key to live, well bonsai.

Ever seen an image of an old japanese fellow besides a bonsai. It’s fascinating. The bonsai is almost as big as the person ( we all know japanese people are short) and it seems so robust and healthy. Same goes for the nippon elder. I guess that practicing a patient art as bonsai must form your character and patience. Maybe that is the key to an healthy and long life? Just being not stressed and being patient about life will probably calm you and your surroundings and let you duck that heart attack at 55.

With that being said, I found a store about bonsai tree. It is Misho Bonsai. The name is rigth on the money since Misho is japanese for tree grown from a seed. Mishobonsai specialize in tree seeds, but you also find propagation material in their germination supplies section.

What is great, is that they provide seed germination instructions with all their seeds. They also have an articles sections with in house article, but also links to great bonsai articles found on the web. This means a newbie wont be left in the dark with is purchase. Avid growers can also find usefull new informations.

They have over 50 tree seeds species to choose from in their seed catalog. All of their offerings, are common species praised by bonsai adept. The store is for everyone, from first timers to nurseries and suppliers, Misho Bonsai offers small and bulk packets. Special orders and wholesale orders are also available.

Have a look, it worth the time, even if you are just curious about bonsai.

House of Lies

Thursday, August 24th, 2006

The House of lies is a very simple website where you will waste quite a bit of time!  You are presented with a “satirical Statement”.  Click reload a new lie to get another one.  They seem to have around 200 “lies” that are loaded randomly.
