BC

BC - is not some biblical reference but British Columbia. If you are travelleling and Canada is in your sites then you might want to put Kelowna, British Columbia on your short list. Now during your holiday you will be looking for somewhere to stay and you can find and book any Kewlowna Hotel with ease online.

You can do all sorts of searches for accomodation that suits your requirements, and then within each search you can narrow down the choices based on things like rating and price. Once you have made your choice you can get a whole lot more info on the hotel including a map on where it is.

The Kewlowna Hotel website is not only an accomodation portal it also has quite a bit of information on attractions and entertainment. It has a bit of info about several attractions and links to their websites so you can easily plan your holiday. The site is easy to navigate and use. The only thing I would have liked to be able to find would have been a page with a couple od maps on it - so it shows exactly where Kewlowna is. They have an excellent paragraph written about where it is located, but the addition of a map would have rounded it out quite well.

Broadband in the UK

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

If you are looking for a Broadband provider in the UK and you are continually bombarded by adverts and just want to be able to compare all the Broadband offers in one place with just the facts about what you are getting then you will find Broadbandsuppliers a very useful website. Before you get too tied up in the whole hype you migth want to just find out what Broadband is and the excellent what is broadband article explains and shows it all in very simple terms.

Now that you understand about broadband you might want to go looking for an ADSL Broadband plan. The first thing you need to do is to check out the availibility as not everyone can get ADSL Broadband connected. If you are unfortunate and cannot get ADSL all is not lost as there is an alternative. Just like a normal phone and a cell phone there is ADSL and Wireless Broadband. Now you are ready to look at the best broadband offers and find one that suits your needs for speed!

The website itself has excellent navigation and everything can be found within 2 clicks of the homepage. A heap of good articles and info on Broadband in general, and up to date info and offers from broadband suppliers in the UK. The site does not rely on fancy gimmics and is not loaded with graphics - it is just information which is well presented.

Need a Little Love’n?

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

Have you ever written or received a little love note from your special someone? Well if you have or you are thinking that you will then you can find a heap of inspiration for your romantic notes at romance for everyone.

Come on, face it, everyone needs a little love in their life and if you don’t then just think of how lucky you might get if you grab a bit of inspiration and impress that special someone you have had your eye on! Yes, this is a cheap and tacky shot, but it reminds me of a slogan on a coffee cup of one of my mates - “Ma always said you can’t buy love, but she didn’t say you couldn’t rent it by the hour”

The site has a fairly large collection of love notes and letters, and truthfully, I did not read them all. Sure, I read a fair few of them and most are quite short - I guess that is what a note is all about - a short message. While the website had a heap of content and with the header it left no doubt as to the site you are on I did find the navigation a little bit haphazard. A little bit of effort in maybe putting together a bit more of a navigation bar under the header would make the site much easier to use. The default font is not too small which makes reading on screen quite easy.

Just one last thing - remember, if when you decide to copy one of the notes for your own, change it a tad - the last thing you want is for that special someone to google the contents of your note and find it! You will go from hero to Zero in a flash!

Homes for sale

Saturday, March 24th, 2007

obares.gif

If you are looking for homes for sale or looking to sell your house you are probably thinking that you have to go out and find youself an Agent to do your selling. Well, at some point you might have to, but why not consider trying to sell online or at least start your search online first. Real Estate usually involves selling and buying - you sell one propery and buy another somewhere else, so you need to be on both sides of a transaction.

The Website is very extensive and the main navigation Items include buying, selling, Mortgage, calculators and Legal Forms. Every Real estate site includes most of these with the exception of theReal Estate Legal Forms - Most sites are tying to hook you up with an Agent to do the transaction on your behalf and if you want to be in control and probably save a fortune in fees as well. The listed forms cover almost every aspect of buying, selling and even leasing both residentail and commercial properties.

Now, with the right forms, you have potentially cut out the middleman in the form of an agent, then you are ready for FSBO or For Sale By Owner. Obares offers a free FSBO listing of your property which is a great way to start the marketing of your house or apartment. As an example, of the listings, take a look at the Los Angeles For Sale By Owner listings. You will see that the FSBO listings get a higher priority listing! All of the City listing pages also give a bit of general information and an area map on the listing pages.

So, when you are ready to buy or sell or if you have to move to take that great job - spend a few minutes searching for your new hous online.

Time to Save

One of the best things about taking a few minutes to check out online resources before going shopping is that sometimes you can get unbeleivable deals - the rest of the time you should seek out a Coupon and get from a few $ to a few % off the full retail price.

Couponchief is a directory with a difference, you see they don’t list websites they list discount coupons and offers from a whole heap of places. They have a heap of merchants listed that offer coupon codes and to make it easy to find a particular item they also have the coupons listed by category. The website is easy to navigate and easy to use. I just clicked on the first merchant in the Merchant list bestbuy.com and there were a heap of discount codes offering things like free shipping, $50 off and 10 to 15% off various items.

For Regular visitors you can simply click on the new offers link at the top of the page to see what has been updated within the last day or so. So, forget paying full retail and before you shop find a coupon.

Got Ink?

Saturday, March 24th, 2007

inkers_biztop-logo.gif

If you are one of the very small number of people who don’t own a printer then skip this post!  You are still reading?  Well, you must own a printer of some sort.  Printers are one of those things that eats paper and runs out of ink at the most inconvenient time!  Well, we can’t do anything about the timing, but Inkers can provide Ink or toner to feed your printer.

Inkers is a web store that sells, yep, you guessed it, Ink and toner cartridges  for nearly every printer you can think of.  They are powered by Yahoo store - so the site is built on a reliable, rock solid e-commerce system that is easy to use.  They meet the requirements as we have said in the past by providing A Telephone, E-mail and Postal address.  If you are in the Continental Us they even provide Free Shipping!

I have not 1 but several printers so I looked up the price of the ink and Toner cartridges that they all use and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Prices at Inkers are very good!  So, before you run out of ink or your toner is empty, check them out and buy a spare for your printer.
